Sudan says efforts to combat desert locusts underway

Khartoum, Sudan (PANA) - Sudan said it has spread an area of over 7,000 hectares in two states, north of Khartoum, as it continues to deal with desert locusts, but said the pest’s damage is confined at present to the Red Sea areas, near the borders with Ethiopia and Eritrea
