Sudan concludes agreement with victims of US navy ship bombing

Khartoum, Sudan (PANA) - Sudan on Thursday announced it has reached a settlement with the victims in the bombing of a US navy guided missile destroyer, USS Cole, in Yemen 2000, stressing it has agreed to pay the compensations only because the Americans have set it as a precondition for normalising relations with Khartoum The Sudanese Ministry of Justice on Thursday issued a terse statement saying an out of the court settlement was reached between the transitional government in the Sudan and victims in the USS Cole bombing incident
