Dakar, Senegal (PANA) – The 11th presidential election of Senegal will be held next Sunday on the national territory and in 49 countries across the world.
Following are details of the figures of the election as announced by the General Directorate of Elections (DGE) on Wednesday in Dakar.
Number of voting locations: 6,919 including 370 abroad
Number of polling stations: 15,397 including 4,651 spread throughout the national territory
Total number of voters: 6,683,043 including 309,592 that will vote from abroad.
Percentage of voters' cards withdrawn: 97%
Number of foreign countries where the election will take place: 49
Number of printed ballots: 40,100,000, being 8,020,000 ballots for each of the five candidates.
Number of polling station members designated by the administration: 46,191, being three (3) per polling station.
Number of controllers of the autonomous national electoral Commission (CENA): 15,397, being one (1) per polling station.
Number of candidates' representatives in the polling stations: 76,985, being one (1) per candidate and per polling station.
Number of accredited observation missions: 41, including 10 within the country.
Number of accredited election observers: 5,002
