Morocco: Morocco, Togo sign protocol on housing

Rabat, Morocco (PANA) - Morocco and Togo on Thursday signed a protocol in Rabat on housing and city policy.

Sources said the protocol was signed by the Moroccan minister of Housing and City Policy, Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah, and the Togolese minister of Urbanization, Housing and Living Environment, Fiatuwo Kwadjo Sessenou.

The protocol is related to sharing information on technical, scientific, legal matters and practices in the housing sectors in the two countries.

The two parties have engaged to strengthen their cooperation framework on the sharing of experience on housing, city policy and the improvement of the living environment.

The document also specifies the holding of meetings between the specialized bodies in the public and private sectors, as well as the sharing of experience in the domain of the financing of public programmes in the housing and city policy sector.

The cooperation will also enable the two countries to undertake visits.
