Malian president flies to attend AU summit

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) – Rwanda’s president Paul Kagame flew to Switzerland on Wednesday to attend the World Economic Summit in Davos, according to an official statement issued in Kigali.

During the two-day annual meeting, he will chair a special session on the economic challenges and transformation in a context of leadership in Africa.

A dozen African leaders, including president Ali Bongo of Gabon, Tanzanian Jakaya Kikwete, president Jacob Zuma of South Africa, and the Ethiopian Prime minister, will attend the summit.
