Lionel Messi's wedding: Samuel Eto’o, other Messi ex-teammates storm Argentina

Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - Some of Lionel Messi’s friends, including former Cameroonian international Samual Eto’o, arrived in Argentina on Thursday for his wedding to long-term partner, Antonella Roccuzzo, on Friday, 30 June, 2017.

Messi and Ruccozzo will tie the knot at the City Centre Rosario and some of the high-profile guests have started to arrive, according to the online Pulse newspaper.

Samuel Eto’o, Xavi, Carles Puyol and Cesc Fabregas all former teammates of Messi are already in Argentina. Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez were also some of the guests already in Rosario for the wedding.

Messi’s Argentina national teammates are also expected at the wedding, including Sergio Aguero, whose wife will be performing the song for the first dance at the ceremony.

The report said the guests will stay at the five-star Pullman Hotel attached to the City Centre Rosario where the wedding will take place.

Messi and Roccuzzo met as kids while growing up in Rosario, but kept in touch after Messi moved to Spain at the age of 13.

They have two sons together - Thiago and Mateo.
