Libya: 2 Libyan soldiers killed, 8 injured in new Benghazi clashes

Benghazi, Libya (PANA) - Two soldiers were killed and eight others injured on Monday evening following fresh clashes between the Libyan army units and Islamic militias in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi, hospital sources said on Tuesday.

It was the latest casualties in the almost daily loss of lives on both sides.

On Sunday, seven members of the terrorist organization Islamic State or 'Daech' were killed and nine others captured as the fighting raged.

The city of Benghazi has been the theatre of heavy relentless fighting between the army troops and the militias, leaving many dead and injured.
