Heavy rains, floods kill 3 in Rwanda

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA)  -  Heavy rains and flash floods claimed the lives of three people in different parts across Rwanda over the last two days, officials said here Friday. The two women and a child lost their lives in flash flood that swept parts of Gasabo and Nyarugenge districts in Kigali City.

Olivier Kayumba, Permanent Secretary at the ministry of Disaster Management and Refugees Affairs, said the floods also washed away several houses in the district.
