Côte d'Ivoire: First group of pilgrims for 2014 Hajj to leave Sunday

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The first contingent of Ivorian pilgrims will leave Abidjan on Sunday for the 2014 Hajj in Saudi Arabia, the Commission responsible for the Hajj said Friday.

According to the Commission, nine flights are scheduled to carry 4,200 pilgrims 7-15 Sept. via
the national carrier Air Côte d’Ivoire, while private airlines will ferry another set of 1,400 pilgrims.

The cost for the Hajj is set at 2 million CFAF (US$4,000) for each pilgrim.
