Congo to attend 38th ICAO session in Montreal

Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) - Congo will attend the 38th session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) scheduled for the Canadian city of Montreal from 24 September to 4 October, the Congolese Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said on Friday.

An official statement said Congo, which would be represented by Rodolphe Adada, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, would participate in three major international meetings on aviation safety during the period.

It said during the 38th ICAO session, participants would discuss issues relating to air transport and civil aviation in Africa as well as in the world.

On the sidelines of the ICAO session, Mr Adada will attend a special meeting on air transport in Congo.

This meeting would also be attended by Mam Sait Jallow, the ICAO Director of Air Navigation office and Regional Director for Western and Central Africa.
