Congo receives motorcycles from UNICEF to boost immunization capacity

Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) - The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) handed over 50 motorcycles to Congo on Friday to boost the capacities of health districts in the implementation of vaccination strategies to reach all residents, public radio announced on Saturday.

These off-road motorcycles, received by the Congolese Minister of Health and Population, Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo, will be sent to all Departments of Congo.

Due to the coronavirus, the vaccination rate is falling, hence the need to mobilise resources to educate families on the importance of vaccination.
