Cameroon: Indomitable Lions in Austria for FIFA World Cup preparations

Yaoundé, Cameroon (PANA) – The Cameroonian Indomitable Lions arrive in Austria Wednesday to begin preparations for the FIFA World Cup which will be hosted by Brazil from 12 June, the Cameroonian football federation (FECAFOOT) indicated here Thursday.

FECAFOOT said the training programme includes two daily sessions, in the morning and evening.

Out of the 28 players expected in Austria, 27 of them have arrived, as Benoît Assou Ekotto has not been released by his English club.

PANA reports that the Indomitable Lions are accompanied by five experts -- Christophe Manouvrier, physical assistance, Alex Weib in charge of coaching, Boris Nolzon and Christopher Schmofd, video-analysts and Uwe Vetter, physiotherapist.

Meanwhile, FIFA has announced some anti-doping controls at the training camps of the Indomitable Lions, according to FECAFOOT.

At the end of the training tour, FECAFOOT will select its final list of 23 players for the World Cup.
