Apple Music salutes Pretoria rapper

Cape Town, South Africa (PANA) – Pretoria rapper Tshegetso Kungwane has struck gold after Apple Music recognised his talents and gave him a global platform.

The 17-year-old recently changed his name to The Big Hash and released his first online album entitled “Life + Times of a Teenage Influence”. It has been viewed 170,000 times.

Streaming service Apple Music has announced that it will showcase his music in the New Artist Spotlight in June, showcasing the artist to the rest of the continent and the entire world.

Previous South African artists to have benefited from the New Artist Spotlight include Thandi Ntuli, Shane Eagle and Sketchy Bongo.
