Angolan entrepreneurs invest US$ 2 billion in non-oil sector

Luanda, Angola (PANA) - Angola's private investment in the non-oil sector reached US$ 2.37 billion in 2010, against US$ 1.8 billion in 2009, the co-ordinator of the Restructuring Commission of the National Private Investment Agency (ANIP), Aguinaldo Jaime, disclosed.

Jaime said this Monday while addressing the opening session of a workshop in the ambit of the fourth Broad Consultative Council of the Foreign Ministry (MIREX) in Luanda.

According to him, the global investment of 2011 is expected to reach US$ 4.61 billion.

The co-ordinator said that private entrepreneurs were investing more and more in the provinces of Luanda, Malanje, Benguela, Huambo, Huíla, Bengo, Kwanza Sul and Lunda Norte.
