Angolan President dismisses 27 ambassadors

Luanda, Angola (PANA) - Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos has dismissed 27 extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors and appointed 32 others, according to an official statement issued Thursday in Luanda, the Angolan capital.

The dismissed ambassadors include those who were appointed in Italy, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Algeria, Ghana, Egypt, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Morocco and the United States.

The newly appointed diplomats include Arcanjo Maria do Nascimento, who will represent his country at the African Union (AU) headquarters in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
