Algeria: 30 countries expected at Algiers int'l fair

Algiers, Algeria (PANA) – Exhibitors from at least 30 countries and 643 Algerian companies are expected in Algiers Wednesday next week for the 48th international fair of Algiers, the Algerian minister of Trade, Amara Benyunés, said here Friday.

The fair will be under the theme "economic diversification for sustainable development", said Mr Benyunés, adding that India will be the guest of honour for this year’s edition.

Participants will come from France, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Poland, United States, Brazil, Chile and Cuba.

Three African countries (Sudan, Senegal and Niger), six Arab countries (Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Syria, Jordania and Palestine) and five Asian nations (Japan, China, Iran, Malaisia and Vietnam) are also attended.

Foreign organizations, 32 in number will also take part individually in the event, representing India, Czeck Republic, Portugal, France, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Italy, China, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Syria and Iran.
