2024 FIFA U-20 WWC: USA win third-place match

Bogota, Colombia (PANA) - The United States of America (USA) came away with the bronze medal on Saturday when they beat The Netherlands 2-1 at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia.

The Americans won in extra time when Dutch player Nayomi Buikema scored an own goal in the 119th minute.

Allyson Sentor scored for USA 10 minutes into the game and Robine Lacroix equalised in the 26th minute.

North Korea and Japan go for the gold medal in the final match on Sunday.
