2024 FIFA U-20 WWC: Quarter-finalists line up
Bogota, Colombia (PANA) - Japan, Netherlands, North Korea and Germany have completed the quarter-final line up at the ongoing 2024 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia.
The quartet join hosts Colombia, Spain, United States of America (USA) and Brazil in that round as the competition reached the exciting stage.
Their round of 16 matches ended as follows:
Japan 2-1 Nigeria
France 1-2 Netherlands
North Korea 5-2 Austria
Germany 5-1 Argentina
The quarter-final fixtures, which will take place on 15 September, will feature the following matchups:
Brazil vs North Korea
Netherlands vs Colombia
Japan vs Spain
USA vs Germany
Of the four African countries in the competition, Cameroon and Nigeria reached the round of 16, while Ghana and Morocco did not go beyond the group stage.
