2017 FIFA U-20 WC: South Korea beats Argentina 2-1, qualifies for round of 16

Seoul, South Korea (PANA) - Host nation South Korea on Tuesday qualified for the round of 16 after beating Argentina 2-1 in a Day 2, Group A match at the ongoing 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

The win in the match, played at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Jeonju, gave the Koreans 6 points from two matches, having beaten Guinea 3-0 in a Day 1 match earlier.

The result means that no matter what happens in the final group match, the Koreans will qualify.

England which drew 1-1 with Guinea are in the second spot with 4 points, leaving Guinea in the third place with 1 point.

Argentina has no point after losing the first 2 group matches.
