2017 FIFA U-20 WC: Senegal wins 1st match, all Day 1, Groups E, F results

Seoul, South Korea (PANA) - Following in the footsteps of Zambia, Senegal on Monday dismissed Saudi Arabia 2-0 in a Group F match at the ongoing 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in South Korea.

The Senegalese goals came in quick succession - the 13th and 15th minutes.

When they played on Sunday, Zambia, the current African champions, defeated two-time World Champions, Portugal, 2-1 in Group C, Day 1 match.

However, the other two African teams in the competition, Guinea and South Africa, have lost their Day 1 group matches.

The following are all Day 1 results on Monday from matches played in Groups E and F.

Group E
France 3-0 Honduras.
Vietnam 0-0 New Zealand.

Group F
Ecuador 3-3 United States.
Saudi Arabia 0-2 Senegal.
