2016 FIFA U-20 WWC: Ghana loses first match 0-1 to New Zealand

Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PANA) - A hard-fighting Ghana team, showing a lot of promise in all aspects of the game, wilted in the 89th minute to hand in the three points at stake to New Zealand in their Group C match in Moresby at the ongoing 2016 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea.

Substitute Christensen went clear from the left flank, dribbled Ghana goalkeeper Antwi before slotting into an unguarded net.

Antwi had no choice but to come out of her safe haven because all her defenders were no where to be found.
