2015 Africa U-20 tournament: Mali, Cote d'Ivoire play friendlies
Bamako, Mali (PANA) – The Malian national junior football team, will this week play two friendly matches against their Ivorian counterparts as part of preparations for the finals of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted from 8-22 March in Senegal.
The matches will be played on Wednesday and Friday at 26 March Stadium in Bamako, sources at the Malian Football Federation told PANA on Tuesday.
In April, the two sides played two friendly matches in the Ivorian commercial city of Abidjan. The first match ended 0-0 but the Ivorians won the second match 2-0 .
The following Malian players have been invited for the double-header by the Malian national coach, Fagnéry Diarra.
- Goalkeepers: Djigui Diarra (Stade Malien de Bamako), Sory Ibrahima Traoré (Asb), Mohamed Sanogo (Onze Créateurs de Niaréla), Mahamadou Seyba Lamine Diakité (Cob).
- Defenders: Ichaka Diarra (Stade Malien de Bamako), Bakoffi Ouattara (AS Réal), Souleymane Coulibaly (AS Réal), Moussa Ballo (AS Réal), Aboubacar Doumbia (AS Réal), El Hadj Salim Bâ (AS Réal), Mamadou Zerbo (Africa-Foot), Hamidou Maïga (Lcba).
- Midfielders: Soumaïla Sidibé (Djoliba AC), Souleymane Diarra (AS Réal), Djibril Diallo (AS Réal), Moussa Sissoko (AS Police), Hamidou Traoré (Cob), Falaye Sacko (Csk), Moussa Bagayoko (Blacks Stars), Mohamed Guillavogui (Yeleen Olympique), Dieudonné Gbaklé (AS Bakaridjan)
- Strikers: Souleymane Sissoko (Onze Créateurs de Niaréla et Mohamed Cissé (CS Duguwolofila).
