Libyan Defence and Security Council meet on security and military situation

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Army, Mohamed al-Manfi, held an extended meeting with the Defence and Security Council, and the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Defence, Abdulhamid Al Dbaiba baiba, to discuss the security and military situation in Libya.

According to a statement from the Press Office of the chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, "the meeting discussed developments in the security and military situation throughout the country".

The Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General Mohamed al-Haddad, commanders of the military regions, chiefs of staff of the specific corps, and the head of the intelligence service, among others attended the meeting.
