Port-Louis, Mauritius (PANA) – A 21-year-old Frenchwoman, Farah Nachi, was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment on Friday by a court in Port-Louis for drug trafficking, judicial sources told PANA.

The sources said she was arrested in Mauritius on 9 December 2011 with more than 9,500 tablets of Subutex in her bag. Subutex is regarded as a hard drug in Mauritius and therefore banned in the country.
