Mauritania: President Aziz receives message from Gambian President Jammeh

Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) – Mauritanian President, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on Wednesday received here in audience Gambia's Interior minister, Ousmane Sonko, who delivered a message from President Yahya Jammeh, the Mauritanian news agency (AMI) reported.

According to the agency report, the message was about the strengthening of bilateral relations with regard to security in particular.

Mauritania and Gambia are considering the strengthening of their commitment and collaboration in the fight against terrorism and cross-border crimes that could jeopardise security and development at sub-regional level.
