Côte d'Ivoire: Summit on investment in Africa holds in London Dec

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The second edition of the Global African Investment Summit (TGAIS), which showcases business opportunities and investments in Africa, will be held on 1-2 December 2015 in London, the organizers said.

Five African Presidents and one Prime Minister will attend the summit.

They are Presidents Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, John Dramani Mahama of Ghana, Paul Kagame of Uganda, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia and Peter Mutharika of Malawi as well as Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo of the Democratic Republic of Congo

TGAIS Director Paul Sinclair said in a statement obtained by PANA here Tuesday that Africa is one of the most dynamic regions of the world, with strong economic growth.

"The summit stimulates trade and investment by giving African leaders, company managers and visionaries the opportunity to present their projects and establish partnerships,'' he said.

The theme of the second edition of the summit is: "Transforming African economies for global competitiveness."

The Summit will attract over 750 qualified global investors, including Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds, International DFIs, Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Pension Funds.
