Mauritius: French football manager fired after 4 months

Port-Louis, Mauritius (PANA) - The Mauritius Football Association (MFA) has fired French manager Didier Six after he announced his intention to resign from the post he has occupied for just four months, PANA reported from here Tuesday.

MFA’s chairman Samir Sobha said that during the COSAFA Cup football competition played last week in South Africa, the Frenchman informed the Mauritian team of his intention to resign.

“We have had no letter from him but Mr Six cannot be reached,'' Sobha said, adding that the MFA has accepted the Frenchman’s oral request to resign.
