Tunisair to resume flights to Libya from Monday

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - The Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Othman Jarandi, has announced the resumption from Monday of flights of the Tunisian national carrier, Tunisair, to Libya.

The flights will be to Maitigua in Tripoli and Bnina in Benghazi, Jarandi said during a telephone conversation with his Libyan counterpart Najla Al Mangouch.

In a statement issued on Sunday on his twitter account, the Tunisian foreign minister said that their conversation focused on cooperation between the two countries and the upcoming bilateral deadlines, including the meeting of the High Joint Commission under the chairmanship of the foreign ministers.

Mr. Jarandi also informed his Libyan counterpart of efforts of Tunisia, which is a member of the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member, to end Israeli aggressions and exactions against Palestinians in Gaza and in the occupied territories, especially in Jerusalem.
