Malian PM in Nouakchott for G5 - World Bank summit

Bamako, Mali (PANA) - The Malian Prime Minister, Choguel Kokalla Maiga, arrived in Nouakchott on Saturday afternoon where he will take part, this Sunday, in the Summit between the G5 Sahel countries and the World Bank on education in the Sahel, PANA learned from an official source.

The meeting comes after the publication of the White Paper on Education in the Sahel, a study devoted to the challenges facing education systems in the region and the urgent measures to be taken before 2030.

This is to increase investments in human capital development.

During his stay, the Malian Prime Minister is expected to be received in audience by some heads of state of the G5 Sahel.

He will also meet the Malian community in Mauritania.

The Prime Minister's delegation includes the Ministers of National Education, Sidibé Dedeou Ousmane, and Economy and Finance, Alousséni Sanou.
