2022 FIFA WC Playoffs: All five successful African countries for Qatar 2022 emerge

Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - All five countries that will represent Africa in the 20022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar  in November and December have emerged after the second leg playoffs on Tuesday.

They are Ghana, Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon and Tunisia.

Ghana qualified on the away goals rule when they held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in Abuja on Tuesday. The first  leg match played in Kumasi, Ghana, ended 0-0.

Senegal qualified 3-1 on penalties after they beat Egypt 1-0 after extra time in their second leg match at home to bring the aggregate score to 1-1 following Egypt's 1-0 success at home last Tuesday.

Morocco beat DR Congo 4-1 at home on Tuesday to sail through 5-2 on aggregate after their first leg in DR Congo last Tuesday ended 1-1. 

Cameroon qualified on the away goals rule as they beat Algeria 2-1 away to bring the aggregate score to 2-2 after the North African side had won 1-0 away last Tuesday.

Tunisia and Mali drew 0-0 in the second leg in Tunisia but the North African side went through 1-0 on aggregate thanks to their 1-0 away win in Mali last Tuesday.
