Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Manfi, took part on Wednesday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, in the work of the fifty-ninth annual meeting of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the fiftieth annual meeting of the African Development Fund (ADF).
A number of African presidents and leaders who are members of the African Union (AU) Committee on African Financial Institutions attended the meeting.
The meetings are aimed at developing a plan for transformation in Africa and reforming the global financial structure, said a press release from the Press Office of the Presidential Council.
The release stated that these meetings were an opportunity to strengthen the commitment of African leaders and the African Development Bank Group to achieve the objectives of Agenda 2063 for Africa, namely the integration and development of Africa and the African continent and improving the lives of its peoples.
The chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mr. al-Manfi arrived in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, on Tuesday evening to take part in meetings of a number of African financial institutions.
