Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - Al-Taher Al-Baour, head of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the government of national unity, takes part on Sunday in Seoul, South Korea, in the ministerial preparatory meeting for the Africa-Korea summit to be held on 4 and 5 June in the South Korean capital.
The aim of this meeting is to strengthen political, economic and social relations between South Korea and African countries, according to a statement from the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is under the theme "The Future We Build Together: Shared Growth, Sustainability and Solidarity".
The Republic of Korea will be hosting the leaders of African states for the first time since the creation of its government on 4 and 5 June in Ilsan and Seoul, said the South Korean Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cho Tae-yul, Chairman of the Preparatory Commission for the summit.
He added that "this milestone testifies to the strong mutual determination of Korea and Africa to raise their cooperation to a higher level".
