Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The North African Regional Standby Capacity (NARC) force Thursday held high-level meetings in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The current meetings, which are being hosted by Algeria, include the Fifteenth meeting of the Committee of Experts, the Twelfth meeting of the Chiefs of Staff and the Eleventh meeting of the Ministers of Defence, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the Government of National Unity.
These meeting, which follow the verification team of the African Union Peacekeeping Commission, announced the full availability of peacekeeping capacity in the North African region.
The same source indicated that during these meetings, the final report on the capacity was signed and the plan for 2024 was adopted.
The heads of the Member States' delegations praised those responsible for this activity and Libya's commitment to equip the components participating in this capability.
