Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The 2022 edition of the Libya International Aviation Forum and Exhibition kicked off on Sunday in Tripoli with the participation of more than 20 foreign companies.
It is organised by the Hormuz Tourism and Exhibition Organisation Company under the supervision and support of the Civil Aviation Authority and the Airports Authority, the Libya International Aviation Forum and Exhibition.
Companies from Denmark, the US, South Africa, a Libyan-Maltese joint venture and an Algerian company are among participants at the event that will end on 8 November, according to a statement from the Ministry of Transport.
Deputy Minister of Transport for Air Transport Affairs, Khaled Souissi, specialists and people interested in the field of aviation, public and private companies took part in the opening ceremony.
According to the statement, papers would be presented on various sectors of aviation, including insurance, legislation, maintenance, investments and ways to lift the embargo on Libyan aviation.
