Benghazi, Libya (PANA) - The commander-in-chief of the eastern-based Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, on Monday inaugurated the third edition of the "Build Benghazi 2026" trade fair.
The Prime Minister of the Libyan government appointed by the House of Representatives, Osama Hammad, and the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, General Khaled Haftar, attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition brings together 277 local and international companies, as well as major global brands in the air conditioning, heavy machinery and various industrial and commercial sectors, which testifies to the economic dynamism and growing investment opportunities in Benghazi.
Marshal Haftar praised the excellent organisation and high attendance at the exhibition, commending the efforts made for its success.
He called for the continuation of such trade fairs, which help support economic activity and improve the investment climate in Benghazi.
